I thought when you get twins, you need a custom exhaust? I may sound ignorant asking this but hey, if you're about to tell me I can buy the exhaust then I don't mind looking foolish.

aside from the fact that I am NA, I do know and understand all the aspects of boost my friend :tiphat:

turbos basically act like a set of mufflers.

if you want loud exhaust and good flow for more power you'll basically want to go with 3" straight pipes with twins. power and sound. that is my plan if/when I go with boost.

Well FI makes a TT kit and their exhaust bolts up to it. Any TT kit that keeps the stock triangle header flange location is going to mate up to this exhaust.

Buy the exhaust!

Had my 18 inch resonated F1 cat back for about a month, couldn't be happier. The sound was exactly what I was looking for, no issues with the install, everything lines up and looks right, not too loud inside. The only downside now is every time I wash my car or have it washed I have to get under there and clean the chrome pipes. Can't have water spots!

Anyone notice that these exhaust over time arent as loud when first installed.

I noticed the opposite.

Hmmmm... for me it doesnt seem as loud. ALL NON RES W/HFC. I may just be getting used to the loudness (which in my opinion isnt loud per say, but perfect amplitude/tone)

The setup that you have should be aggressive. I'm thinking your tolerance has shifted to the changes of your exhaust. Your level of acceptance has shifted to the sound. I'm sure those who has never heard your exhaust or rode with you will say it's too loud.

That happens to all exhausts.

So I have had the non-res for a few months now and love it, but want to add something to the exhaust. Should I go with (and of course all options are F.I.):
long tube headers
non-res TP
res TP
HFC

I want it to be louder, with some more bite to the tone. Anyone have videos of the different options?

:iagree: A friend of mine has the non-res version and I think it's weak in comparison to my setup. You do have options, good luck.

I just installed mine this past Sunday. Perfect fit. I love the sound.Could not be happier with the product.

So how bad would performance be if I installed the 3 inch verison of this exhaust that goes with their TT kit before actually buying the TT kit? I am trying to justify mods to the wife.

1cleanZ has non-res with HFCs videos on YouTube. Those videos and the day we met where u let me rev ur car a couple of time sold me on non-res.

Still, I know what u mean about wanting to be even louder. I like my tone even without anything else. I believe my car is plenty loud to folks outside of the car...it's just I can't hear it as much when I'm driving. I almost want to take out the damping material so I can hear it better!

I have the AAM midpipe with AAM short tails. The short tails give it the sound I like and was looking for.

Sound good on initial start, but pretty weak on the revs.

yeah I love the non-res, but I think I might end up getting the FI LTH to match.
