As long as they haven't finished your build or shipped, you just need to call Tony. Worth the call either way. I changed mine less than a week before it was due to be finished. Best of luck, the non-res is awesome! :tiphat: |
What numbers are going out tomorrow?
|
I just called them to do the switch, I should of asked :/
I do know they are short handed right now (one just had a baby and one broke his arm) but he said they are cranking the products at full steam! |
Is there a different time table for ordering just test pipes?
|
here's a little present for you guys lol
|
Nice bro!!!

Yesterday I finally installed my non resonated test pipes to my non resonated exhaust and it sounds amazing! And it's not that loud!

^ you kidding? That's a pretty aggressive setup! I know mine is loud, but enjoyably so :). What numbers are y'all making on the dyno post install and with what other mods? I've got CAI, TPs and now the FI CBE and I put down 300 to the wheels on a dyno jet with 246 lbs torque.

last I heard #956 was shipped 2 weeks ago, I'm #958 and still haven't received mine yet. When I spoke with Tony at ZDayZ he said mine would ship when he got back. Hopefuly it'll ship this week. I know they are running ahead of schedule, when I ordered mine I was told 3rd week of June.

Loudness aside, what would have the most bass and sound the best
CF non-res - stock cats CF non-res - 300cell HFC from FI CF 12" - stock cats CF 12" - 300 cell |

This is my current setup. *Fast Intentions Resonated 300 cell HFCs (runs through the 300 cell cat, with an 8" resonator immediately following) *Fast Intentions SS Catback with NONresonated X I've had first hand experience with each resonator size in the Xpipe(18", 12", and non-res), and the DEEPEST, THROATIEST sound is by far the non-resonated. Rather then giving the exhaust note that steady note at idle....its more of a rumble pissed off sound...wuwuwuwuwuwuwuw. Sorry, only way to attempt to explain it in words. I ran 18" resonators in the Xpipe with OEM cats, and the entire time I just wanted that liiiiiittle bit more. The added low-end gains from the RHFCs are felt immediately, and the exhaust gets nothing but deeper and sexier! Less resonators in the X, lower the tone/"bass". You can literally "feel" the tone of my exhaust outside the car at idle. I LOVE IT!!!! Acceleration Vids (first pull to 3500rpms, 2nd pull WOT) COLD START(and yes, actually COLD, temp was about 43 degrees >>excuse the clutch/flywheel chatter |
Very, very nice Lance!

Clean, is the 12 inch res sound close to the 18 or the non res? I'm starting to worry about going with the 12...

I speak to guys daily about this dilemma, difference between 12" vs 18" resonators. Its definitely not a decision to lose sleep over as there's not as much of difference between the two(12" vs 18") compared to going non-resonated all together. When going with a resonator in the Xpipe, no matter what, the exhaust will be running through an actual resonator in both pipes indivually, which is a great sound deterrent helping prevent against in cabin drone, yet having ZERO affect on performance. If you're concerned about "too much" noise, I always advise for atleast 12". I personally run Resonated HFCs for the same reason. I wanted a resonator atleast somewhere in the exhaust while NA, but also wanted to be setup for posssssible future Fast Intentions upgrades...aka: TT ;) |
i hope the resonated test pipes and 12 inch resonator aren't too much...
|
just ordered mine yesterday! non-res cf :happydance:
|
962 delivered yesterday!
