Instead of accepting the dyno showing gains from Church, he took the car to another shop to verify the gain at his own expense. I think the least we can get out of this story is that you cant always trust the hp gains on a dyno graph. I'm sure there are things that a tuner can do to make it seem like your car gained hp after tuning.
