Long story short, I did like 5 oil changes back to back. Till all of the white residue off my oil and white smoke was all out. After that, the car was perfectly fine and I even went turbo afterwards with no issues.

I'd have to agree and say that if Geico or whatever insurance company knew that the OP had aftermarket intakes on his car and sucked up water, they would not cover the claim. I don't think Geico would be in business for very long if they covered every idiot who decided to turbo their 94 cavalier and blew the engine.

I can tell you from my personal experience with Geico. I had a tricked out the 350 (see pics in my profile) that I totaled. And even though I didn't have a extra policy on my parts (dumb me) they still gave me a little extra (couple thousand) towards them. But that was six years ago. Maybe a slightly different case. But that's what they did for me.

Hey, if Geico covers cars with aftermarket parts that cause failure, then that sounds like a good deal to me. I might even consider switching to them from Progressive if that's the case.

It just doesn't make sense for the insurance company is all I'm saying.

I actually already called Geico and they said it was covered because that is considered "weather conditions."

I don't like it, since I wind up subsidizing these things, but they will cover it.

Sad to hear the issue was with Injen CAI. Glad to hear no harm was done to the engine. I am considering swapping out mine to G3's or going back to stock with a drop in filter.
