If I did it, probably in the spot behind the passenger seat. Either that, or just mount it directly center of the car right behind the bar behind the seats. Of course, you could take your spare out and theres TONS of room under there to hide it and put a remote bottle opener on it...

But, I ran mine valve up, and the valve to the side of the car in my 2000 with no issues at all. Valve up is the most important Im fairly sure.

Nitrous sounds fun, but I'm not willing to take those kinds of risks on my 370. Aside from the risks when everything is working flawlessly (just getting the tune and the shot right so that you don't destroy stuff) there are so many risks from minor failures, hence all the safety devices like throttle switches, fuel pressure switches, window switches and all that jazz. It's just not great odds. Would I do it to a 70's musclecar rebuild project that I had a few grand in? Hell yes. My new 370Z? Hell no.

I just like the idea of cheap, fast power, but we all know where that road often leads. |
