If you disconnect the battery before disconnecting any harnesses you are usually ok, however the car gets cranky if things are disconnected while it still has power.
so just using the consult-III, which they will do in the morning is all that is needed? They dont need to physically adjust the unit by hand too? I can tell its causing some minor things already. My steering wheel felt funny when turning it alot, when I come to a stop a hear squeaky kinda noise. This did cause the car to get out of alignment did it?

The install was pretty easy so uninstall should only take about 30 mins. Im sure HFCs in general probably only have a certain life span, some more or less than others Im sure. I was hitting over 220 degrees on my oil temps so this weekend Im installing my Modshack DIY oil cooler and I am going to make sure all things are right with the HFC install while Im at it.

I installed Berk HFC's over the weekend to a Nismo exhaust and have some bigtime hissing/resonance going on. It's pretty loud, especially when the exhaust is cold, but gets a bit better as it heats up. WOT it's still very prominent though... plenty of clearance all around but it sure sounds like its almost metal on metal at mid-full throttle, could it be coming from the flex pipes? I had the exact same sound with my 350Z and Nismo exhaust too... althought not as loud now. Kinda a drag because the exhaust sound is very nice, just seems there are some angry King Cobra's under there somewhere lol.

Well I don think I have any flex pipes now as the exhaust is all aftermarket. And the Hiss is just part of the game when you open up the exhaust and allow things to flow freely, plus the aftermarket parts arent as thick as stock, thats how they save weight, so the sounds come thru more. Its a give and take situation, if you want the power you have to take the noise too. If I go SC or final gear change I may go back to stock as the few HP wont really matter much then but for now Im sticking to them till they start to sound too raspy.

I'm full aware of the fact that I'll get blasted by some of the younger ones here, but I've always believed that the only stupid question is the one you DON'T ask, so here I go: WHAT is a demon bolt?? My auto mechanics knowledge is very limited, but, man, I had never heard of THAT one! Thanks for your patience on this one, guys.

^ I have a feeling its the infamous Headers-HFC top bolt that is very hard to get to and gets stuck all the time.

It's that EVIL cat-to-header bolt that you can only access through the engine bay after removing the intake tubes. It's on there TIGHT.

I think they torqued the SH!T out of the top bolts on purpose, and they used soft bolts to begin with. Had to have it cut off.
