I've never heard of that explanation before. Whether it's true or not, someone would have to do an actual test. However, muffler delete is a 'common' mod on the internet.

I've never heard of that explanation before. Whether it's true or not, someone would have to do an actual test.
However, muffler delete is a 'common' mod on the internet. What WILL happen, however, is that you'll end up with drone that will drive you crazy. Trying to mess with the sound in these cars is like opening a can of worms. Either do it for performance reasons or just get an cat-back system with helmholtz resonator design that was created to fight drone, or just leave it alone. |
