Not saying you are making things up, but no one here has had any issues with either thing you are talking about. Needing splash guards or front bumper issues. I might see how with the injens so low you might need something, but you would need to be driving through standing water. Also, the bumper is meant to be removed, do you think Nissan would design it not to be? It is listed in the manual on how to do it, maybe when the person who is having issues removed it they bent something, who knows.
