Well, here's an update. I have installed the 370z Tomei and it sits way better than the 350z version (as expected). The downside to this is that I scrape everywhere and everything. Friend was riding his bike back behind me and said he just saw sparks fly while I was driving on a perfectly smooth surface.

Are you lowered at all? Or stock ride height?

This is why I didn't go to the Z34 version.

Yeah, I didn't think it would be that low but I fixed it... I just took a hose clamp and pulled the exhaust up. So far no scrapes! I will need some loctite to hold that screw in place so it doesn't loosen over time though.

I am lowered on coilovers.

I would like to see a picture of your setup in order to replicate it. I would like to quit scraping as well.

Sure thing. I'll take a pic later today and edit this post later!

Edit: As promised

How much quieter is the exhaust with the silencer in it?

I have the same issue. It sits way too low and I'm scraping like a mofo. My car is lowered 1 inch but I don't have coilovers =.=

It is still quite loud but noticeably more quiet. You will still turn heads and might get complaints but still slightly more quiet.

I actually got these at Home Depot. They were like $2 so... relatively cheap fix although I wish they would have made the exhaust with this in mind instead of have it scrape the ground when lowered. I had higher expectations from Tomei.

Okay, thanks! I had been looking all over for these but I guess I was looking at the wrong place

No problem! Hope it fixes the problem as it did mine to some extent. The only thing that I will say is that as you tighten it more the pipe near the y-pipe will touch the heat shield. Nothing major but you will hear the occasional rattling.
