Default Fast Intentions Ground Clearance

I had a question for those that own the FI exhaust. It looks like it hangs much lower than stock. Has anyone had issues of scraping? I'm debating between FI and Berk. Both sound great, but the Berk looks like stock, size and all. Whereas FI looks to hang down a couple of inches. Just curious.

Actually, it hangs a tiny bit higher than stock. The original version did hang lower, but they changed to the higher V2 after the first 100 or so units. F.I. is a great exhaust & Tony is one of the best

I will let you know when I get mine in 3-4 weeks.

Mean while, you understand failing to do a search before you post would most likely get you flamed, right?

Here was a thread from two weeks ago on this topic:

The piping on the Berk is not stock in size. It's 2.5" true dual cat back exhaust with an X-Pipe...same size as FI's piping set up. The difference is the rears. FI has the two canisters while Berk has more of the stock look similar to the Invidia & Stillen design. Both are great sounding exhausts. As you can tell by Tony's huge customer listings FI is preferred by majority of the masses and rightfully so as it is a great exhaust....but so is the Berk. It all comes down to your preference. Berk pipes if I'm not mistaken hang just as low at that low point towards the rear as the FI's. As far as weight reduction goes I recall someone stating that the F. I. exhaust is lighter than the Berk, but I don't know how true this is.

Both Berk and F.I. haven't had any clearance issues with their exhausts granted that your Z is not Slammed Dunked!!!! Stock height or a mild drop should not pose any clearance issues. You can't go wrong with either one as they are both exceptionally better than the stock set up. HP and Sound wise.

I have an FI exhaust and the previous owner scrapped it a good bit. Probably speed bumps if I had to guess. I am lowered on swifts and have no issues so far. But they do hang low. I am considering dropping the cash on two new canisters from Tony at FI.

I'm lowered on Swifts and have only "barely" scraped once when I took a tall speed bump straight on. Since then I always take them and driveways at an angle and never scraped again.
