Stillen SC kit recommended upgrades?

There are a lot of us that would love to know what exactly caused the problems! I would love more power but I don't want to be on that list!

JWillis is right if you stay on the 8PSI pulley you should be, SHOULD be fine, I made 412 WHP and 320 WTRQ on their "stock" kit custom tune of course. I then went for 500WHP and the motor quit at 457 WHP and 330 WHTQ @ 12 PSI. I was seeing 9 PSI on the stock set up, An I only did the impeller upgrade but had all the fueling upgraded and UPREV mafs. You'll need only the heat exchanger if you plan on staying at 8-9 PSI.

If I could do it all over again I would have stayed t 412 WHP and be still driving it and not looking to buy another one

Same boat as you, my kit was just fine at 430WHP and then when i upgraded the kit, motor gave out at 510WHP (ran meth as well), leave the kit alone and enjoy the car, the extra 50-60hp not worth it for the amount of the long term headache you will go through TRUST ME!

I already have the 34 row oil cooler and the transmission cooler is getting installed with the SC. I planned ahead. When the temp is under 70 right now it has trouble reaching proper temp. I am sure FI will change that.

That should work as long as you don't drive in a lot of stop and go traffic and don't plan to track it.

Are you saying a 34 row oil cooler won't be enough for stop and go traffic or tracking?

It's been more than enough in 117 degree weather and stop and go. But maybe I am just lucky.

I currently only have a 25 row cooler, wonder if that would be enough

It won't if you track the car.

With a 34 row in the summer on track n/a the car can easily hit oil temps of 240-260 deg at places like Sebring or Roebling.

Mine is at the shop right now. I pick it up Monday after we tune it. (I like watching the dyno runs lol) I upgraded the bypass valve too. Of course getting it custom tuned. I am hoping for a safe 420 to 440 hp.
