Just because we get a custom tune doesn't mean it's not smog legal. I got my sticker on my 412 WHP custom tune.
Get work in changing the canned tunes
I thought I had seen on here that you had to use there tune to pass so I was just guessing at what could cause it to be lower. We don't have to test our cars for anything here so I have no clue what the testing requires.

I didn't have to use their tune, I was on the custom tune when I passed smog in MA, Testing is ODII hook up( Data Reader) and tailpipe sniffer. They used to use a rollers here in MA ( Not sure they still do) as I have a AWD and never had to worry about being put on rollers because of the AWD

I said CARB Legal Tune because of Jason's question/comment...

The CARB Legal Kit must come with a Tune from STILLEN. You can get a custom tune after but technically it is no longer CARB Legal Unless Performed/Approved by a CARB Approved Facility.

We are making a high boost kit that will make more power. This is more than just a tune.

We have the same situation here in California. AWD Cars don't get smogged on rollers. Here in CA you need the CARB Sticker to pass smog.

Is the new kit you're developing also going to be CARB legal?
