Were you listening for knock through all this? Everyone knows as you increase boost you have to back off timing to keep the system happy. Increasing boost without touching timing

Were you listening for knock through all this? Everyone knows as you increase boost you have to back off timing to keep the system happy. Increasing boost without touching timing will put you into knock very quickly. One good burst of knock and its done.
What fuel were you running during this? Also what A/R are you running? Its possible your back pressure just skyrocketed as your increased your boost. Interesting read though!
