Damn I am glad I'm backed out of this lol. Btw, I know they have cash problems. when I was going thru the refund process, all the signs of this were there, including several comments Sam made... Be careful guys if you are still in this, that's all I can say...

I can't believe people still have hope of this kit ever hitting the market . When I was planning to do huge build, they were all over me and willing to tell me anything I wanted but when I started to read more about their time frames etc and backed off. Their attitude towards me turned from "Yes sir" to a quick " When we get the time" attitude.

Now I'm glad I choose to move on and not rely on anymore shytty companies. I had my share with STS.

I'd take that with a grain on salt. As trq can easily be manipulated with timing.

JTran tuned both of those cars w/o biased fyi! Single is always going to make more wtq than a twin, and the peak boost isn't but a 500 rpm difference, if that. Dudes been building turbo kits on VQ's for years, he just doesn't blast his shop all over the forums like others because he doesn't need to. His business has taken off and grows every year because the way he treats his customers.

2 years ago he was tuning VVEL: VVEL control unlocked

built more VQ37VHR's than any other company I know and countless VQ's in general: JTran Motorsports basic shortblock details

How about pushing a stillen kit to the limits: Vq35hr 20psi stillen blower

Sasha and JTran go way back, here is one of the first low mount kits ever on a VQ....5 or 6 years ago....custom setups are JTrans middle name!







This setup ran 10.'s w/ power in the mid 600's till he blew the motor failing to upgrade fuel pumps :/

Yea, I do most the repping (fan boy) crap on here for them, but hey, I've known him for over 8 years and he is the best UpRev tuner on this side of the US! Not to mention he has helped me out numerous times over my 8 years of owning VQ's!

I hate to continue the thread jack but I can't help it. I've had a business relationship with JTran for over three years. I really hate to call it a business relationship because they treat me like family. He has given me free wisdom and knowledge on many occassions. He tuned me NA and he will be getting the G with my BP kit. He is an enthusiast. He loves builds whether its his work or yours he's always willing to help.

He is definitely not the type of guy to add or pull timing to push his product. If they say that's how the kits perform, than that's how they perform.

Sorry...back to the regularly scheduled program

I just switched to a stage 1.5 supercharger in hopes that it'll be here in about a month, seeing as it at least exists. If I could do it all again I would've just never signed a layaway agreement and gone BP. Live and learn I guess
