i'm going on a guess, but the vis should also have the bolt holes to transfer the 3 latches like my seibon did. The reason why they say hoodpins are a must is prob for liability reasons.
On my seibon Ts hood I did install hood pins but was going too ended up selling it. I tested it at 155mph for a total of about 1-2 hrs total no issues. And 140's also no problem at the track, but I always felt uncomfortable not having the pins on, so when I order the VIS I'll install aerocatch latches or similar. |
