So what exactly is wrong with the Stillen SC kit?

If someone is looking for a supercharger kit and lives in California, there is no reason to not go with the stillen kit, going to GTM supercharger is just going to make it a pain in the *** to smog here and you will only be making like 50hp more over the stillen.

If you're going to be illegal and spend the money every 2 years to be able to drive your illegal car on the streets, you might as well go twin turbo, if not than stillen supercharger.

If OP lived in AZ or any other of the 49 states, and looking at the stillen, I can see why someone would talk them out of it for the GTM but as far as California and CARB goes, stillen would be the way to go just because the extra 50whp the GTM kit offers, is not worth the $400 every time you need to smog and the $600 ref ticket or worse, getting your car crushed.
