I agree. I too was thinking why is this thing angled?

Not really. Turn car on but don't start it. Have laptop turned on. Plug cable into laptop and odb2 port. Open Osiris. It'll detect ecu and the number will be in the on the left side of the window a few lines down. You can also open Cipher and when you tell it to connect to ECU it is shown in the pop up window.

I know Sasha already answered your question but I did update my response as I had the location a little off as I was doing it from memory. Had to pull mine this evening to get to Sasha and that's when I realized I misspoke.

2 questions.

1. If I pumped all the gas out of my tank from the pump housing, passenger, side, does it pull it from the drivers side as well? Do I still have a few gallons of gas in it? Im going E85 so I need to clean it out.

2. WTF is the syringe for in the kit?..lol. Ive read the install manual 3 times and have never seen where the syringe comes into play.

Very end you must prime scavenger pump. Use syringe to do that

Gotcha. Thanks Sasha! Maybe that comes with the kit. Looks like mine was held up by customs an extra day so didn't make it here Friday. Monday for sure though.

Attempting the turbo alignment? That and the demon bolts were very frustrating for me.

I got the demon bolts no problem. 4ft extension and a good socket. Came off like butter.

Hey, kind of a stupid question but is my car supposed to start without a base tune? I tries a couple times and it sputters and dies. I'm gonna send my ecu number to Sasha tomorrow so I guess it doesn't really matter... I just wanted to check for leaks

I faintly remember my z starting with 600cc injectors. Is 750 to much without a tune to run and idle ?

Check your MAF plugs. Can you hear the fuel pump whine when you key on?
