I like the HKS to. But why buy another BOV when this kit comes with some. With two different options at that.

I dont like the sound of TiAL BOV to be honest, they are best flow bov but sound is meh

I'm ready for those new manifolds! Just drop them in with that stage 1 engine & stage 4 transmission.

Yea I spohn I know what you mean but the Hks bov sounds so sick but then I also like the Turbo Smart bov that the kit comes with cuz of the "sneezing" type sounds uhhhg! So hard!....can you switch bov whenever or would that cause problems to the kit??

Chuck33079 06-13-2013 03:58 PM

I've seen the HKS units leak more than Tial or Turbosmart. I'd stay away from them since there's other options.

Ahhh....Appreciate the Tip!^^ :tiphat:

G37sHKS 06-13-2013 04:50 PM

I'm there with people and their preferences in BOV. I haven't found another one to replace my choice of the GReddy Type RS...

If only it sounded like the older Trust unit, I would have been all over them. But not so much...........

I have a Tial BOV on my car and it sounds (and more importantly performs) very well. The thing with twin intake engines is that the boosted air is relieved through two BOV's and since you're running on relatively low boost, they don't end up sounding as dramatic.

I specified and GTM plumbed in twin Synapse Synchronic BOV's. Both of them rerouted back into the intake. Quiet, stealthy, and effective.

I seem to be the only Synchronic fanboy, but, hey what do I know. ;)
