Update: We finally got a response from our casting company today on the status of the cast parts that we have had on order with them. They are telling us that we can expect to have the parts within the next 30 days. The parts we have on order are our new, updated cast manifolds, new turbine outlets for the factory cats, and new O2 sensor housings for our modular 3” downpipes.

As for our mandrel bender, there have been numerous setbacks with the bender supplier. For starters, we were supposed to have the dies in hand before the end of this month as of their most recent schedule. That has been pushed back since the original wiper dies were not leaving a desirable finish on the bent pipes and had to be reworked. This of course was after our metal supplier sent the incorrect temper piping to the bending company to test the dies and ensure they work correctly. The bending company is estimating that we will have the dies in hand on November 8th. They expect that they can have the bender setup, up and running sometime between November 11th and the 15th.

Please be advised that this is information that is passed on to us on when we can expect things to happen. Given all the setbacks we have seen thus far, this schedule is preliminary and not set in stone. As such, this schedule is subject to change.

As we get information in that changes any of the projected dates, we will post up the information. Also, bear in mind that once the parts come in, we will need to process them all, do quality control and then start packaging up the kits to ship them out.

We have a system in place that will allow us to ship the kits very quickly and we are already working on putting together the components that we already have in stock in anticipation for the arrival of the final components. Without going into great detail, we have a system in place that will allow us to put a turbo kit together complete, in a box, ready to ship within 2 hours.

We will also be posting two new threads. One will be about the latest results from car that got our first iteration of the MHI kit. The car had 10,000 miles on the kit and we brought it back in to tear it down and inspect the system. We will be sharing what we discovered and give some more insight into this new system. The second thread will be about the GTX upgrade option.

Thank you guys, for your continued patience.

Damn. I was only half joking saying it was going to be thanksgiving, but it looks like that's not too far off.

So it sounds like if there are no more setbacks, the best case scenario is that kits start shipping in late November or early December.

That would be best case scenario. No one is working hard during holidays. I'm still sticking with late Jan early Feb.

Let's get some money going on this!

I really hope this is the last of the delays - I doubt I would wait much more than this, heh.

Still, I'm glad to start seeing more concrete dates.

You know what I mean I'm not the impatient one and I don't mind waiting.

This it what I need as a flange to merge the 3" external Dp to my Exhaust right? 3" merged to a 2.5"?

I wouldn't go with something that drastic of a change maybe something that starts with a 3" diameter and then reduces itself to 2.5" somewhere in the middle of the segment.

Agreed. They also sell/make megaphone-shaped reducers, I'd look into that as well. It would seem like that would be the best way to preserve exhaust pressure and not have a crazy pressure fluctuation when it hits a sharp size change.
