That's why when you turbocharge a car or supercharge a car the colder the plug the faster it releases heat from the cylinder chamber. Which is what you want when you are boosting like hell. Just saying....

Hmmm I thought it was higher their number hotter the plug, I also thought the z came with 9, I guess that's why I thought higher was hotter.

Nahh , there should be a number somewhere on the plug to let you know the heat level. I'd have to look it up but I would guess they use the hot plugs from the factory since they are better for stop and go traffic. I put the 9's in my car for the "just in case" factor. I may not need it but when they cost the same as the 8's. Why not.
