I just have quite a bit or drone and noise now in the low rpms/low speed partial throttle like in traffic. Sounds fine when cruising and when I get on it. I would like to get rid of the former, but not neuter the latter.

Depending on the characteristic and design of your exhaust and cats system, installing the twin turbo set up might or might not help this drone at low rpm/ partial throttle. The only way, unfortunately, is to have the TT setup installed in order to find out.

I'm waiting for cycy to go get his z so I can see how his sounds and drives. Not exactly the same, but it can give me a reference point for things.

Nice vid and cool props from Chris to FI. I echo what others said about how organized your shop is.

Mine has external waste gate so you won't be able to tell what it actually sounds like when in boost.

I get some drone under 3k rpm, I have their 3'' downpipes with their 3'' tdx system, but it doesn't bother me at all, I like it and the cops haven't harassed me once yet.

I have the same setup and I only get a little drone on 6th gear at just under 3000 rpms.

Different turbo kit but FI 2.5" exhaust non-res. I get zero drone.

But lots of turbo whistle:driving:

No mufflers, 3" down pipes, x-pipe, and dumps right at the rear axle.

Makes house pets run and hide. Little children cry.
Angry, loud, and all kinds of awesome!

Yea i really like sound of the car when they took those rear mufflers off for track, you can hear everything! I might just leave it that way and mount the cf mufflers on the wall in my living room.

I do have the 3" rear for the street though. It's very tame at idle and easy driving. Under load it opens up nicely :)

totally not saying this to Tommy directly, but I wonder how many times FI has to put together all this information, spend an hour answering questions, only to never hear from the "buyer" again. My god it must get frustrating.

Yes we all made it out there however with the 100 degree temps and bad track prep the best time was 11.20.

what was the trap speed?

Mid 120's. Cant remember the exact #. Not sure what the boost was set at either will have to let Tony chime in on that.
