Havent driven it since the clutch let go at the drag strip. Been using it for building some new parts on. But I should be putting it back together in the next month or two I believe, so its time to start clutch shopping.

The hta does have a lot of positive feedback on the internet. Are the other aspects of the turbo, i.e. cooling, essentially the same? I do like the way the turbine is connected to the manifold on these kits with a circular connection rather than the common rectangle. I think that's grade A ingenuity that will most likely catch on in the performance culture.

Definitely! How long did you have it TT'd before the clutch let go at the strip? Got an idea about how many runs?

I'm gonna guess from the date on the video you had about 45k and almost 4 years with kit installed?

The car was turbocharged for well over 3 years, and maybe around 45,000 miles or so. It had 61,000 miles on it at the track. The clutch was installed at the same time.

The clutch lasted about 6-7 runs I believe, but I only began to really slip it and start to get the 60' down the last few passes. Those clutches are not meant for drag racing (heavy slipping), so it was no surprise. It had been used for a couple passes at the track the year before, but it was on street tires and didnt have any grip to warrant hard use of the clutch.

Oh yeah aren't you the power shifter that was gonna make some transmission and diff supports? That's pretty good for a street clutch plus all those miles, really gives a positive outlook for 370 owners. It was a OS giken right?

OSG Twin, correct. Yes I powershifted it on the regular, pretty much any time I was full throttle. If you shift quickly, thats not really bad for the clutch so long as its not slipping. I dont think it needs any trans supports, but the differential you will want to upgrade the mounts and I think F.I. will recommend the same thing.

Good to know. I'm gonna start posting in some of your threads cuz I don't wanna throw of this tread too much. It was a long 300 pages, don't wanna fill it with more talks of off topic. Although, sometimes "off topic" conversations can be informative to the thread... sometimes.

Fast Intentions and countless others can acquire an used AWD G37 or damaged one and use it to built a product for the AWD platform. All I have been hearing is excuses from these companies.

If GTM did right by their consumers these companies would have had to step up there game to stay relevant.

"Building" a twin turbo is not picking up twin turbos and shoving it down the engine.

There goes enough in R&D and god knows what all.
Fast Intentions is a business not a charity, If they see a market for it, I am pretty sure they would have done it already. Be aware that even the 370z market is not big itself, Let alone the fact that not all of that market even goes forced induction.
Fast Intentions is one of those companies who have been constantly getting better and better.

I am sure they have their own reasons for not building one yet.
And why would they give you excuses ? Unless they owe you something and it is your right to get a TT Kit From FI whether they have it or not ?
Mericaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa????????

At the risk of feeding the trolls, I have to respond.

First, I don't know why you even bring up gtm in this thread. It's uncalled for and frankly, pointless. I don't think Tony and Dan have ever based their business decisions on what Sam, or anyone else, did.

Second, if the demand were there, in sure they would look into the awd g market (a small slice of an already small market?!) But...they surely wouldn't buy a wrecked car to test it in. They would do it properly just like they did for the 370. Would you want to buy a kit that wasn't thoroughly tested on the road? Tony and Dan and company have the reputation they have, because they precisely avoid that type of half-cocked methodology.

It's very easy to come on here and discuss how fi or others should spend their money. Lots of keyboard heroes. Considering the cost of developing a kit properly, I doubt they could sell enough awd kits to break even.
