This is where the big savings come in when comparing this to twin turbo kits. Even if you take this kit to a shop, i can't see it being over 10 hours to install, so about $1000. It goes together like Lego, because there is nothing to drill, tap, cut, bend or modify on the car itself. Like with the mid mount kit, each pipe end is labeled telling the installed where it goes. Same thing goes for the oil lines, each will have a label at each end telling the installed where it is to go. The scavenge pump will come already mounted on the plate, with fittings installed. Same goes for the oil filter relocation. So, one could say that some of the kit comes somewhat pre-assembled. |
