Yep. I was also looking into something to control and prevent knock. I've been reading about the J&S Safeguard but I'm still not sure how it would react to our weird ECU and VVEL. According to Sam, its not a plug n' play solution like in other cars but he is working on a kit that will make it so.. It's about $550 and it's constantly monitoring for knock, once it detects some it pulls timing just on the cylinder that knocked...As an alternative I'm considering meth injection, not to gain power but too keep everything cool and knock free, at least for summer.

I believe HKS has a knock sensor but does modify the ECU or have any control it just monitors the car. Not sure I would want something tapping into the ECU, even though I do not want knock I do not want something modifying my tune.
