Really the pulley thing needs its own thread, or one of the existing ones, or it will take over this thread in the end heh. It's been debated endlessly in the past. GTM is showing clear evidence of the problem with removing the aluminum pulleys, and that does kinda suck.

I'm more interested in the whole "NVH" vs "real balancer" side of the debate. If the rubber ring on our crank pulley is truly balancing the engine rather than just reducing NVH for aesthetic purposes, then a few vendors have a lot of potential engine damage to answer for...

I posted here for few reasons, one of them is that the underdrive pulley will also effect the speed of the Sc unit directly, So even if there was no other implications with installing the underdrive pulley, You still will make less boost by having one. As for the rest of the info, its your choice you can take it what ever way you like.

Me too. I would love to get all the data to look at it. I just don't understand how when you are sitting idle that hot pipe doesn't negatively affect IATs. Maybe when moving the ambient air flow is enough to offset it (with the good heat shields).
