Hmmm... it does look like a pair of headers would fit in there from those pics. The only thing that might be tight would be the intake filter...Which I guess could melt?

Sam,
How long does it take before the pulley starts to do damage to an engine (on average) ? Ive had a underdrive pulley for about 10k miles and from your post I am already itching to throw it out. |

Really the pulley thing needs its own thread, or one of the existing ones, or it will take over this thread in the end heh. It's been debated endlessly in the past. GTM is showing clear evidence of the problem with removing the aluminum pulleys, and that does kinda suck.
I'm more interested in the whole "NVH" vs "real balancer" side of the debate. If the rubber ring on our crank pulley is truly balancing the engine rather than just reducing NVH for aesthetic purposes, then a few vendors have a lot of potential engine damage to answer for... |

Me too. I would love to get all the data to look at it. I just don't understand how when you are sitting idle that hot pipe doesn't negatively affect IATs. Maybe when moving the ambient air flow is enough to offset it (with the good heat shields).

Great information and numbers the VQ37 community has waited for this for a long time. Project G42 has the potential to be a beast. Sam, you still have to crack VVEL, then you will be a complete Z and G miracle worker.

I know how to figure out the TT or SC purchase dilemma, take Phunk's TT Z and one of Sam's tuned s/c monsters and see how they measure up to each other
