How much power do you think is safe on stock internals?

blue370TT, not picking up a fight, you probably make points that make sense to you regarding the TT setup but you kinda come off angry in your posts above. That

blue370TT, not picking up a fight, you probably make points that make sense to you regarding the TT setup but you kinda come off angry in your posts above. That will probably take away from some valid points in your arguments and veer off the thread in a different direction. This thread is highly educational to most of us on the forum and I believe most have the right to acquire as much info (regarding what type of issues to expect) should they consider going FI at some point. What others do with their FI setup is their business not someone else's.

I've done 170mph pulls, do you know how much stress you are putting on the motor in 6th gear doing that? A whole lot. There are a lot of guys on here who put F.I. on they're 370Z/G37s and baby the car, or just feel a little boost and back off it. Like I said my car sees WOT EVERYDAY!
You IS-SLOW (I mean Nismo).......< my car........and I would love to BET your car has WAY LESS dyno pulls than my car.

BTW.....I LOVE beating cars JUST LIKE yours all the time.........

come back when you have road course time, and 200+ passes.

Highway pulls are pretty easy on the car compared to a standing QM or M.

No they are not easier. I don't road race my car its not a track car. Top end pulls put way more stress on the motor than 1/4mile runs.

You think 140 150 160 170mph pulls are easier on the motor? Smh your crazy if you think that. The motr is seeing a tremendous amount of stress doing that.

It's a slightly heavier load on the engine at speed. It's not terribly rough on it. If your car is actually fast, you will be hitting high speed in the SQM, and definitely in the SM...
