Had some bad thunderstorms this afternoon and we lost power at 2pm, at 4 and no sign of it coming back I gave up and left so didn't go too much further. Hopefully finish up most everything on Monday, a few small touches Tuesday and to tuning either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday!

Some more pictures!

Oil cooler, lines, and sandwich plate fitted

Wastegate, manifold, new lower raditor pipe, and charge pipe ... tight fit!

Hotside intercooler piping

Tial Q BOV

One of two blow through MAF's

Wasn't planning to share this until everything was buttoned up but what the hell, full 4" intake turbo to filter (K&N filter not fitted)

Again, incredible fab/welding skills! In terms of MAF placement, is the goal to get them both equally distanced from the throttle bodies?

I wanna know how its going to sound with the headers that different in lenghts from one another.......if you dont know that mostly has to do with the sound of the subbys..........interested in the exhaust note!!!!!!!!!!! VIDEOOOSSS!!!

PS: i know ppl are going to say oh no ithe subarus sound like that because its a horizontally opposed engine......and no....it doesnt.......you can put equal lenth headers on a STI and it will sound pretty damn close to a CIVIC

Wow, that's quite a tight fit. I think it would be extremely difficult to mass-produce a setup like this, simply due to the clearances.

Interesting piping to the intakes though.

I would assume so, but thats a question for the tuners...

Very tight fit! Other than the fact that Shawn prides himself in custom one-off builds, I believe another culprit to not mass producing anything is due to fitment issues.

And for the intake piping, it looks beautiful in person. Ideally, you'd want equal sized piping in equal lengths to come into a y-pipe and one pipe go into the intercooler, but Shawn had to work his magic with the little room in our engine bays. Based on his logic, with the different sized piping and different paths, it seems like it should be pretty even.
