i agree with squeeze... so far every car that we've boosted needed a clutch prior or during steady state tuning. stock clutches are already slipping during tuning on the dyno,

i agree with squeeze... so far every car that we've boosted needed a clutch prior or during steady state tuning. stock clutches are already slipping during tuning on the dyno, i'm amazed that some of you are holding up.
i wanted to verify it on nigel's car, so when his car had the TT kit installed, I instructed my tech to not install the Giken clutch to see if how long his stocker can hold up for. lets just say it didnt make it past tuning. Granted he could still drive on it while babying it on the streets, but if you laid on the gas pedal and did some spirited driving, it was slipping.
