7 speed good it just can not believe this.

So if I'm not wrong you are saying you just push the car till 4th not after that? more asking under normal driving conditions not on track or dragstrip. And

4th gear will take you faster than you ever want to go on a public road. If you're trying to accelerate hard, you should be somewhere in the 1-4 gears, yes. The rest is just there for fuel economy.

No idea, but I suspect he means he's shifting between 1-2-3 in M-mode while crawling in stop and go commuter traffic. If so, just put it in D, that's the beauty of the 7AT. Rev matching is automatic, so I assume he means he doesn't like it blipping the throttle when he's shifting at a crawl?
