Yea, it all depends on set-up, but the only real big singles I've seen on the VQ platform have been on the DE models. Lot or the built DE's that run Greddy have made 1k or close power. Haven't seen a single hit higher than Hal's gt42r which was around 800 I think.
But there's always gotta be a first! I'm sure Marti can figure sumthin out if he really wants to hit that number! |

If you go with the stage 3 like me make sure you get the .86 A/R , I am learning the hard way backpressure with the .64 A/R I have now and T25 turbo flanges. My goal has been 700whp+ all along ,and after speaking with Garret the PRI show I am sure I should have went bigger. |

Nice, did the downpipe bolt up to the Greddy kit with no problem?

My goal would be 600+ on pump gas. If I can get away without having to use meth even better. 16lbs over 600 seems about right since I'm almost halfway there at 12lbs. |

It was a pump 93 the dyno is on page 3 in the link bellow it made pretty good power with the stage 2 turbo's. http://www.the370z.com/forced-induct...otor-tt-3.html |

Hey Dreamer please remove me from the list please. No need to be on the list with a kit that is coming off the car in the next few days. Time to upgrade the car and turbo kit. I WILL BE back on this list soon enough...I hope. Thanks.

Yes I'm looking foward to the numbers and pricing on the FI twin turbo kit....That won't be until Oct or Nov before I even think about getting it. Not going to rush this build. At the same time this one will push the 700hp+ when I'm finished. So it's either them or GTM. |
That's quite an expensive learning curve.
Good luck with ur future project! |

In that case I am only 2700.00 USD short of my Zele Strut bar can you help me out?

Also, updated the list, just did a strike through to remind you that you were part of the FI crowd to get you back. |
Hmmmm well since well since Santa Claus is not real and I'm not a millionaire I guess were all screwed. The $2700 would come with a step interest rate. ..lets say 50%. So that total would be around $4050. Cool?:tiphat:

Dreamer, I have a quick update for you. I had the guys at MAC Autosport swap out the 3.2 inch diameter pulley on the blower for a 2.85 inch diameter pulley, swapped out the bosch bypass valve with a Forge direct replacement that uses a piston instead of a diaphram and got a re-tune. Final numbers are now: 398 WHP, 319 WTQ at a little over 8 PSI.

The Build thus far ...

Little background about the car.
2009 nismo I had the gtm stage 2 twin turbo kit installed. At about 10 pounds I was making around 530 to the wheels on the stock engine. Motor eventually blew (shot a rod) so went for a motor rebuild. (i did drive the car hard and 530 is a lot to be beating on stock motor) This is my current build... GTM stage 2 twin turbo kit ( Gt28rs .86 a/r) Custom 34 row oil cooler aeromotive stealth 340lph fuel pump 1000cc injector dynamics injector set CJ motorsports fuel return system(stage 0 beign upgraded this week) Os Giken twin plate clutch with large diameter disc AAM oil pan spacer kit Carillo H beam rods with CARR bolts Custom Ross Piston 9:5:1 compression ratio Bore Ferrea high performance dual spring and titanium retainer Competion 5 angle valve job silicon bronze valve guides kw Variant coilovers SSR sp3 wheels 19x10 and 19x11.5 curently michelin pilot supersport tires ( thinking about getting the MT et 2 soon) Car is currently making 601 whp at 13p and 498wtq on a mustang dyno. Running on Pump Gas (93 oct.) Tune Via Up Rev All work build/tune done by Perormance Motorsports in Smithtown, NY Thinks thats it for the most part enjoy .. :tiphat: |
Damn Nizz! F' stellar! What kind of torque were you pushing with your old motor and at what rpm did it let loose?
|
Sick Nizzing, what Oct. fuel for the 601?
|
Wow that's an awesome build! Curious who tuned the original stock block? How much torque were u pushing on stock block?
What most people should know is that torque is the main killer of these motors. Ur on a built motor with some nice upgrades. Those carrilo rods r very pricy but worth it. Your torque could be waaaayyy better. We have same torque level and I'm stock block :) Is this your base tune for breaking in the motor? How long did ur stop block last? Great lookin ride! |
Can you elaborate on this? "Ferrea high performance dual spring and titanium retainer"
Since when ferrea have springs for us. |

UPDATED the build with some info i left out. Who has done all the work (performance motorsports smith town) and what fuel im running on (pump gas 93 oct. )
As far as wtq before it blew on stock block i think was around low 400s i will have to double check my dyno sheet will let you all know later. I can be running much more WTQ and WHP esp with bigger turbos but where it is at right now i see it being best on the street with a nice set of tires. As far as Ferrea they make them. Just give them a call and ask if your intrested ! |
