Patrick, I remember about 3 years back when I explained to you how to set that up. However, I have a new technique which modifys the BPV to achieve the same result without the added cost of a WG.

I remember it very well also. For my application, probably the best sc mod I did. Thanks for the help on that.

Your new technique sounds interesting. And of course it will be copied, just like the wastegate set up has. Actually, I'm surprised more haven't done the wastegate.

You haven't seen the WG option because the current mainstream setups can't produce enough boost to take advantage of those mechanics.

Enter the C38R-112...gives us a better reason.

The Vortech V3 just can't handle being overspun to be able to produce that kind of boost. I like the V2 but when we couldn't get the Ti to make the power it should have been capable of and the lack of support from Vortech, I've decided to go tt's instead. Of course I made that decision prior to you releasing the info on the Rotrex kit.

It has been proven, the Rotrex units have been used since the early days of the 370z, it went away went GTM failed & Sam passed away. Check the FI finished builds and you can see the GTM kits, just remember most of those are when we thought 500HP was max and the SC was the safe bet.

The C38R is the similar housing size of the GTM but turned up to 11, we have limited engine bay space so the larger Rotrex units are difficult to fit (GTM stage 2 tried but saw minimal improvements).
