Thanks. So now that the new OEM tensioner is on and I have no belt slip, I'm gonna put the smaller 10lb pulley back on to see what kind of results I get. Just out of curiosity, what was your set up to reach 16 psi? I am limited to 93 octane so my next step may be methanol Injection. I was also looking into the Z1 intakes but haven't seen that much discussion on them. Any input greatly appreciated as always.

I had the 9lb pulley, 3.47 jackshaft pulley and 3.00 sc pulley. I was just under 17 psi with that set up. I had to run e85 at that psi but since I also ran a wastegate, I could turn the boost down when I ran 91 octane (I ran flex fuel). You don't have access to e85?

You're wondering about the Z1 ported upper and lower intakes? I don't think you're going to gain much with them.

E85 is available about 45 min. away from me so it's not really ideal. 93 Octane is readily available so that's why I am leaning towards the methanol injection. I'm gonna put the 10lb pulley back on now that I'm not getting any belt slip and see how that goes since I was making more boost with that one. I'd like to try and crack 600 whp and I'm almost positive that is not possible on just 93 Octane alone. Just a side note I measured my jackshaft pulley as 3.19 and supercharger pulley as 2.89. I was curious compared to the setup you we're running.

2.95" serp side jackshaft, 3.2" SC side on JS, 3.0" on SC

I should clarify on that 687whp number on the V3-Si. Z1 is the only one who displayed a number like that. Is this daily driven? Did it leave the dyno at that power? Was it straight 93? Im not sure.

I know that Dynosty holds the record for the ACE kit but of course that took E85 and they made 685whp.

Hey everyone. Noticed some oil coming out of the BOV. Pulled the charge pipe off and there is a good amount of oil around the coupler from the outlet on the S.C. connecting to the charge pipe. My oil level is still fine and the blower has been running for around 6000 miles and the oil has been changed twice.

Did my seal go bad? I'm also not running the 9si pulley on the front, I'm running the 8psi.

Is it redish/pink fluid? Mine does the same but its never really been a problem, I just change the fluid out more regularly to make sure it stays topped off, measuring the fluid coming out to have an idea of how much was lost. I figure worst case scenario rebuilding the supercharger is pretty cheap and simple so I just blissfully ignore it.

It's black. Only started I would say about 1 week ago. Just in time for boost season to tear it down

All, how simple is tearing apart the Vortech to inspect/ replace seals? Or am I better off sending to Vortech?

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the repair and inspection will be quick. Vortech advertises two weeks or more, but my major rebuild was done in five days. The bad news is that it can be expensive. Mine was leaking fluid and then mistakenly contained too much fluid, causing the seals to give and essentially cooking the blower.

I appreciate the feedback.

I was able to do the rebuild myself after seeing the prices of a rebuild lol. Wasn't too bad, a hydraulic press worked wonders. Replaced both seals and an input and output bearing that I had to remove with a pulley extractor that probably loaded up the bearings from the removal. Now she's ripping again!

All part of the game I guess

So some updates on that intake: Unfortunately it didn't really work out, while the fabricator did about as good of a job as one could do with that hilariously limited space and offset there just wasn't enough airflow, car maxed out at 9psi (for comparison I did 15psi with that K&N filter and a little over 17psi with a turboguard). Because it was hand made it was shaped similar to a box which is going to be pretty rough on the airflow since it would have to make a couple 90 degree turns. I'm assuming it could probably work if a similar piece was cnc machined or used some high temp 3d printed plastic to create smooth angles instead but I have no way of doing that.

I have not given up however, I have a couple other ideas I plan on trying out later this week/next week instead.
