None yet. That's what will happen to me when I get my 370ztt back. It would drive me crazy on my 1975 280zt. My 1975 hood doesn't have any vents like the 1977 and 1978 280z's did.

Stuff a turbo in there and it get's even worse. One of my favorite Z's was my 1978 280z.

I have a dual Intake Air Temp gauge to keep a close eyeball on the I/C performance as well.
Makes me nervous sitting in traffic with no air flow thru the I/C watching the temps creep past the safe zone.

MA-Motorsports recommended and installed a CSF Triple Pass radiator for my build (replacing the Mishimoto) So far - So good, although I haven't been out with the car on a really hot day the temps have been OK.
There's a lot packed in there besides the radiator looking for airflow.
The massive CJM I/C and the heat exchangers for the oil cooler and air conditioner.

Put a manual override switch on cooling fans & turn them on while in traffic,etc...but the added vents would allow the heat to get out of engine bay

You don't have to with the A/C running all the time. The fans run all the time.

I have a CSF triple pass also. Ron Davis would have been better. I am keeping my stock radiator real close just in case the CSF starts leaking.

A question for those of you with these extreme builds going on - what kind of preventive maintenance do you do? Is it like a1x per week thing where you pop the hood and check all the fluids, or every time before you start the car? Are you putting a tray down under the car as a sort of early warning system?

Building a spare motor. LMAO.

I check my oil at least once a week anyway. If I detect any oil usage i will check more often. My car is parked on concrete in a carport/garage. I will see a leak if I have one.

I was pretty OCD with mine and I guess I still am even with the Miata lol. I check the oil and coolant levels once a week. I check for oil leaks constantly especially before and after track days. I change my oil every 2500 miles or after two track days. I change all other fluids once a year or sooner if needed. It is way over kill but my OEM motor lasted five years of boost and abuse with the last three being 80% track time.

I will be curious to see what your guys experience will be. I know Elmo will be installing a Ron Davis radiator. I didn't have any issue with cooling with the OEM radiator even in traffic. I remember driving in Phoenix AZ during rush hour in early July. It was 126* and I had the AC on max. My oil temp never got more than 235 and the water temp never moved more than the 6 or 7 dots.

I have had several conversation with Sebastian about adding a triple core radiator and his recommendation was to stay with the OEM radiator. His reasoning was issues with the CSF leaking issues and for both of them that the thickness of the radiator would not eliminate heating concerns because it would require more airflow to cool being behind the FMIC and oil cooler. So far after adding hood vents and opening up my front bumper I have had any issues with water temps on the track even when temps reach a 100* to about 107. I skip most track day that I know will be 100* plus.
