I know I know but it’s fast

Back in January of 2020 when I was trying to figure out what to do, SOHO's current build was still new and in testing phase. It had not been released nor had they talked about it. I actually went to SOHO and saw what they were doing the following week after I lifted my heads. I think it was on a Monday. This is one time I went left and I should have went right. I can't change that decision.

I wasn't referring to your experiences, I was referring to your willingness to share knowledge. A couple times, if I recall correctly, you have claimed to be fully transparent with everything in your build in order to assist the community. Then you seemingly change direction and say that you aren't because of the investment made.
The optics of messaging just had me confused. That's what I meant by wishy washy.
Your build/thread, do you what you want. You've still done a lot to pave the way for future FI builds, so props to you.

Your right. I have said I don't want to share anymore. I have about 140k invested but I still keep sharing. I can't help myself. I am who I am.

To be fair though, and this is for certain posts that pop up in my head (don’t know if they are the same ones Dave referred to), somethings aren’t for Spooler to share. I view the solutions be as intellectual property, and Spooler paid for the right to use it, but not to openly reveal for others to copy.

Hope Mazworx gets it right for you. I want to see you hit your goal and enjoy it after going through this whole journey

Tests are done and it is ugly. Installed a Haltech pressure sensor and logged with Ecuteck. Radiator cap is 19.8lbs.

18psi of boost - 26psi of coolant pressure.
27psi of boost - 39psi of coolant pressure.

Spooler 10-26-2021 11:53 AM

A good reading is between 8 - 14 psi after a pull.

All options are on the table.

Similar boost on his with absolutely no i
Headlift issue?

If so, maybe you are having excess stretch in the threads between the block and the studs. Do they use helicoils or some other form of threaded insert on your block?

He made 1200whp no issues. The crank exploded and he was done with it. Not enough interest. He ran 7.8’s

I can't get into details but his headstuds were different in his billet block. I just do not know those details. Since his was a billet block he could do more things to help with headlift. My build used L1900 head studs with the factory threads. He ran way more boost than me but I do not know his compression ratio.

That question just got answered today. I am good in that department.

Looks like Ryan will have the new Mazworx upgrades installed on his engine. I talked to him last night. Seb will be testing it out. This works for me because I wanted to wait until next year anyways. I just want to putt around in my car and enjoy it for a little while before going back under the knife.
