I don't have it on my computer. Only my cell. Not sure how I could link it here.

Well, the only video I see on their Instagram page is that one you already shared in here a few weeks back (it was Bob's 2009 TT 370Z)

That's on Youtube. I am not that great with Instagram either. LOL It is in their story line.

Spooler 04-15-2019 10:09 AM

The goal for this week is to have it on the dyno on Thursday or Friday. Hope all goes well. Expect to see 680hp on their dyno at 18psi of boost with pump E85. It may take 19psi of boost. Not sure. Guess we will have to wait and see. Very rarely will one do better than expected.

Elmo370z 04-15-2019 10:59 AM

Sounds awesome

It definitely has a different sound with those carbon fiber mufflers.

Copied and pasted the link to Youtube - but it didn't work for me ... showed no results

Spooler 04-15-2019 06:50 PM

I can't get it to work at home either on Internet Explorer. It worked fine at work with google Chrome.

I just tried Chrome on my home computer and it works fine.

Spooler man I'm so stoked for you. I'm gonna call it. It's gonna be more than 680 by a good bit. We both have a similar build and mine came in at 670 with jacked up vvels and low fuel pressure. And my tune was very conservative to bypass my natural jackassery. I'm gonna say mid to high 700s.

MA's dyno reads 17% low due to it being a Mainline hybrid dyno. So 680hp on their dyno is 795.6hp on a dynojet. I looked at a build that was done with a FI Stage 3.5 turbo kit, stroked with a Bryant crank, Sleeved, GTR intake conversion, etc, and it made 680hp at 19psi of boost on their dyno. He posted in my thread a ways back. They were at the track finishing up the tune and turned the boost up, it snapped the dang input shaft. My hp will be fine. Not too worried about it. I would love for it to be 700hp on their dyno, I just don't see it at only 18-19psi of boost. We shall see. They have 3 cars plus mine to tune Thursday and Friday. We'll see if they get to it. The tuner worked on my car on Sunday breaking in the motor. Freaking Sunday. I am very greatful for that. I am not going to ask him to do such. But if he wants to work on it Saturday or Sunday I am sure not going to tell him no. Besides, I think he can't wait to see how it does. So who knows. They have a couple of things to button up before it hits the rollers.

Spooler 04-16-2019 07:42 PM

Food for thought. Don't get a Z1 diff cover if you are planning on 3" Fast Intentions exhaust. They have had to cut several cooling fins off to clear the exhaust. If you get a diff cooler you won't need it anyway. What a freaking waste of money.

You still have to cut the fins with the 2.5" FI exhaust. The extra capacity helps.

Yes, but we had to cut even more. Like, a lot more... LOL What fins????

FI likes to tuck their pipes in tight to the diff compared to others.

Spooler 04-16-2019 08:22 PM

I get tickled over the idea that my dyno sheet will be low. "Yeah it made 680hp on the dyno". Roll race someone with 760hp and just dust'em. WOW dude, you must not have the hp you thought you had. LOL This happens all the time. Next thing you know they will be on the side of the road slinging all the stuff out the hatch or trunk. Spare tire and all. Wanting another race and getting the same result whilst getting mad as heck. I have seen this many times. It is quiet comical. LMAO

FYI, drag racers will always, always say this. (Joby) "What did it do in the 1/4 mile. Dyno sheets don't mean anything unless you ran it in the quarter mile."
The reason why is they can take the vehicle weight and the trap speed at the end of the 1/4 and tell you approx. what your wheel HP is.

You don’t need to cut anything if you just dump them LOL...

My car is a street car, not a drag car. I personally require mufflers. That heat that is left at the diff is not good for a street car.

Nope, I'm gonna be right in that ballpark. Honestly, I'm kinda wanting to hit that 720-750 sweet spot and just leave things since I was impatient and left it open deck. The closer I get to 800 the more I'm concerned with cylinders wanting to start dancing. Just FYI I ran into a right hand turn fuel starve situation while I was running hydramat on both fuel pumps so look out for it if you don't already have precautions. Thats why I decided to install the Radium surge. It was Seb who planted the idea of putting twin 450s in it. Right now I'm still in a holding pattern on the install of the diff, all the bushings
1.32ar housing and the surge. After that it's tweaking the tune and Im done. I'm guessing 3 weeks but there's a GTR ahead of me with traction control issues and a 911 Turbo looked lonely.

1/4 mile racing has a lotta technique involved & weather conditions play a huge roll too.
Most importantly you have to be able to launch & cut a low 60’ time- then don’t miss a shift.
Gonna take some practice if you really serious about giving it a shot....just ask Blueranger :ugh2:

You already have a driver mod? Oh I think I get it ... you just mean you're gonna have a professional put down the 1/4 time in your car
