Thats really sad to hear. Do you have some info on the build? Open / closed deck? Stock head stud size? Type of gasket?

Open deck and L19 head studs. Not sure what head gasket he used. Doesn't matter anyway. It was a ticking time bomb.

Nitish21 is still not going to listen, I just have that feeling. He will end up being one of the many that have disappeared. The last laugh is actually on him.

I am enjoying the JarBlue approach. I am poking him in the eye and laughing at him.

Mission Accomplished, I got kicked off his Instagram page. LMAO!!!!!!!!
I don't think he liked it when I told him he didn't know chit and he was a dumb MF'er.

In case you guys don't know on a turbo car this can be a major issue. With the additional boost pressure put on the back of the intake valve it can induce valve float and a loss of HP. It can also destroy you valvetrain. I have always known what valve float is but I have never seen it first hand. The video above does just that. We don't see it that much because on most turbo engines the boost pressure is keep low. Crank it up to 30psi and it can be a major problem.

Car is still doing great. No issues except for the lack of traction. Ordering new rear tires shortly.

You guys always talked about tires being a major expense but I really didn’t understand how bad it was...

Two R888r's 325/30/19's are a little over 1k shipped to my house. No install. Lasted a little over 8k. They are done. I still have some tread but they are heat cycled out. No traction.

The other news is I am working on going to a MOTEC M150 next year. The car is just too much of a handful to not have it. Boost by gear and a real motorsports traction control is very much needed for safety. Our chassis is good for 700whp. Over that and it becomes very dangerous. Playing has to be limited.

Spooler 11-24-2020 11:32 AM

Going sideways in 4th at 25psi of boost is not much fun. That is the only time the car just about got away from me. The speed you ask, I have no idea, I wasn't looking at the speedo.

Why did my little incident happen? I got pissed because it was spinning and left my foot in it. I got away with it that time.

Jon said mine got really floaty and then snap steered on him a little bit on kill when he was out in it making sure everything was right...which is why it's still on wastegate. This car was the fastest thing I'd ever driven when I picked it up stock, so each liitle bolt on furthered that. Finally boosted and 534 is a helluva jump from 364.

~800 on bald tires has to be an experience:icon14:

It's an experience, that is for sure. Take your time and go slow. You have to learn what it is mostly likely to do. A better diff will help you tremendously. Wavetrac or OS Giken is your next mod. The factory VLSD is very unpredictable.

If we ever meet up I will take you for a ride.
