I think he meant he's considering getting in on the group buy so he can display it in a box on a shelf in his garage.

WHAT???????? You are kidding, right? It looks like the price will be around $2500 or a little less. If you bought it individually it would be $4000.

daaaamn! That's crazy, $4k usually? I'm excited to see the final price but I'm in for sure if it's where you're saying. Just lmk!

SOHO called the vender today that makes it. I hope to hear back tomorrow.

No news yet. Still waiting.

I think that was a typo. Nik told me $3k.

I have been priced 4k and 3k for a single. Who knows. It will be a better deal than buying a single unit.

Nik told me he'd make a Facebook and Instagram post about it.

I called to check in when I saw there were 8 people in on it. The group buy savings will justify going ahead and getting it, though my stock waffle isn't necessarily in danger...yet.

Yeah, he is waiting to hear back from the folks who make it. Still waiting on the pricing. Lots of pent up demand for it.

Several people on Facebook asking about it for an NA car. Doubt they'll cough it up, but there's no published info on it anywhere. Maybe they'll include all that in the post.

I doubt it. We are all lined up because turbo cars have a limit. Once the headgasket issue is fixed the next problem is the plastic intake. I will retune to 30psi and boost by gear. I want to hear those turbo's sing...

soho actually confirmed resolved the head gasket issue (although I think you did as well with your latest build) but they blew a few headgaskets testing things out to specifically dial in what was causing the issue.

I am good. I have ran 25psi many many times on the street and the car was tuned on the dyno at 25psi. No issues. Engine builder asked why I didn't turn it up to 30psi and that I was good to do so. There were some grumblings coming from me about the plastic intake. I asked him to make one. Which he can damn well do. He just has no time at the moment with all the work in his shop going on. If this falls through I may resort to bribery or buy the CJ Motorsport one.

“Falls through??” Why you say negative words like that! Lol

What’s the CJM one? I can’t find anything on it but a forum thread from a few years ago mentioning it but not real details, price, numbers etc.

That’s a one-off that Charles built, but requires some fabbing to install & probably a different intercooler.
Spooler is on top of his game with all of this, very valuable information in this whole thread!
