I will through out some numbers so that all the dumbchits can get the picture.
My first build cost me a little over 50k. That is not all the mods I had done previously like OS Giken diff, Aragosta suspension, SPL parts out the wazo, Wheels and tires, etc. My redo was around 25k. Factory battery= 33lbs. AntiGravity battery with bluetooth tracker = 8lbs. The Install: Not too bad. Just have to move battery towards the cables to ensure it catches the hold down on the corner. I had to crimp my negative terminal connector to ensure a solid clamp on the terminal. Man, this thing turns my car over crazy fast to start. With E85, that's a good thing. Especially when it get's cold. The Bluetooth tracker APP is cool as hell. No more wondering where the charge is when the car sits for a little bit. |
I need to hook up the CTEK battery tender cables. I will do that later. I can no longer use a regular battery charger.

Let me know how well you think the factory tie-down clamp holds it.. if I should make a billet one or if stock is plenty adequate. (PS Folks, we sent him the one in the GT-R form factor case, so its noticeably smaller in the front-to-back dimension from a Z battery)

Phunk, I had to move the battery all the way to the front so the tie down would hit the battery like the stock battery for it to hold. I barely got it to tighten down. I would make one that way I know it won't go anywhere.
