Looks like I am not going to make my event. The coating we are going to put on the intercooler will have a 14 business day timeline. Oh well, not gonna rush it.

Mighty car mods did an episode on this with regular paint and it worked. I could see if a lighter coating could be applied it would increase with heat exchange.

Gonna use what Calico recommends. That's what they do. No spray bomb for me. Plus, if they can do a PTFE coating to help clean it easier and prevent fouling and clogging of the fins I am all for it.

Now the question is a Bell Core or a Garrett core. SOHO has both in stock but have not made a Garrett core intercooler yet. I have been reading and the Garrett cores are supposedly quite good.

I know Seb is a big fan of Bell. We never discussed Garrett.
