Haha, Idk that's just what was suggested I do. I personally don't have a problem with the way the pipe is now, but if I am going to have someone work on my car in the future for any reason, I'd like to accommodate that person if possible.

I guess it's because the pipe was really hard to put in, and if we took it out, it would be as much of a pain to put it back in -- not sure if we installed it wrong or are doing it wrong, but that's just that lol.

I think he just wanted it more user-friendly to remove and put back in without hassle - i could be wrong though
