Whoaaaaaa...... So Phunk, I was looking at having to remove my old fuel return and upgrade to the new one to run a 450 pump. Are you saying if I wait a minute I can have a drop in solution without having to purchase and re-plumb another return system? Like maybe wait till say.... January/February?

I have the same question, when I ordered my kit I did receive the external filter with my kit that I installed under the frame rail cover and you helped me initially during my order to find a way to install my EC-2 flex fuel sensor over the fuel hat with provided fittings about a year and a half ago I guess before the "E" kit was a thing? How easy would it be for me to do the new hat, new twin pump, and rails? And would this be sufficient for big built motor power in the future or would I need larger lines and other things than that which came in my s1(.e?) kit? Thanks Charles,

You wouldnt use our billet hat with our twin pump, it would be one or the other since the billet hat is for the stock fuel pump housing and the twin pump has its own hat as part of its design. The twin new pump can be configured to use a single -6 output, and factory style QD return... which means it can be used as a drop in replacement for the stock fuel pump module so long as the car has an external filter already, as the twin pump does not have room for an integrated filter. Adding the rails would mean switching from your S1.E to our S1.SE kit. This entail purchasing the rails, the rail crossover hose, and the rail to regulator hose. The rest of the S1.E on your car would remain in place as they are the same parts. |
