The CMC should be another hour, max. It's accessible from the top.

Awesome Z quoted me an hour and it ended up taking them close to three. Apparently it's a bitch to get the thing back in there. |

Called another Nissan dealership they said their book hours for cmc is 1.3 hours. There WILL be a war tomorrow when I go to get the car. Book hours is book hours at a dealership. I used to work construction we only got paid what the bid was for. Same concept at a dealership far as I see it. They did say they would take $100 off 4 hour extra from original quote,........

That sounds more like it. They'll probably give you some BS that the extra labor was also because the CSC was aftermarket and it took longer to bleed. ![]() Got your PM. I responded with my cell. Hit me up when you are ready to wrap and I'll talk you thru the safety wiring. |

Upon picking up car today from dealership I shared with them the book hours of another dealership of 1.3 hours for cmc install. They looked into it and said I was correct and they made a mistake on the original quote...... Hmm. Anyways $600 for clutch install. Left dealership and accelerated from first light and car won't rev past 3,000 rpm and check engine and traction control light is on. Limp mode in guessing........ Pissed at this point, u turn and right back. Car is throwing crank shaft code. Called Joe at Z speed to verify correct fly and it is he said it sounds like they clocked flywheel wrong or damaged it. One pissed off mofo right now. They are still trying to figure it out

Well they pulled transmission again and found a bent smashed tooth on reluctor ring. Claimed they did not do damage but they contacted joe at Z speed and ordered another one and are paying for it and install.
[IMG] [/IMG]While I was under car I did not know about damage but there appers to be a scratch on block just above and to left of crankshaft. From a tooth on reluctor ring maybe? I.e. bent smashed tooth. The metal on bent tooth was actually wiped [IMG] [/IMG]They did show me what they had hiding out in their back shed that they said I could trade the Z in on though.... Hmmm....$68k, 2013 Last edited by TcRocket; 03-19-2016 at 01:18 PM. |

I spent $250 on good flat top Jack stands and hockey pucks I have all the tools. Starting to wish I did clutch myself. No one will take the time to do it right and do it like you would personally. Just my .02

Update! I am starting my build next week. First thing I am doing is getting the new clutch put in by a friend. The week after the kit will be installed, but I still need to find a tuner. I do have a question, what oil do you guys recommend, and if I get the base tune can I drive it to my tuner with out going into boost?
