$2500 is way too much for just the kit. I'd say 10-12 hrs for a professional with a lift. At the quoted labor rate of $150 would be $1,500-1,800. Edit - $2,500 is more reasonable if they are doing the clutch/CSC/CMC, still high, but reasonable. I highly recommend you get a mechanically inclined buddy to help you and knock the install out in your garage.
