We removed the vacuum line off the fuel regulator and it seems better. The tuner is a TX2K16 tuning a bunch of cars so we are waiting on him.

I was originally shooting for 500/400 but now that I know the speed restrictions of this blower anything over 450 will do, I just want to go back to the track. I only plan to keep the car for 1-1 1/2 years then I'm getting a track car with a warranty, I've been saying C7 but the ZL1 camaro has my attention also. I will never get the money out of the Z so I plan to make it N/A, raise it up to take the camber out, soften the suspension and give it to my son. He has always loved the car so I know he will take good care of her.

He will be 19 in August and he's a very good kid. I can't see him acting crazy like I would have as a kid but I'm not taking the chance. My plan is to pull the supercharger our and leave all the pipes, block off the BPV. I will install an air filter where the supercharger is and keep the supercharger and BPV and maybe I will give him then in the future.

Stillen Air to Air setup
We made progress today but the tuner is at the airport catching a flight home. If all goes well we will try to tune some more power into it tomorrow and get the car back together Wednesday to end this nightmare!

I agree 100%! He's the shop owners friend and not local so I only hear his **** from the shop. He says the tune will be done today and i will never deal with him again, I can't wait for that! My old tuner knows Seb and has a dyno about 1 1/2 hours away so I can retune it there when I get a cable. At this point it's easier to let him get the tune done than towing the car that far.

You need to get a driveable car, and then cut all ties with that shop and tuner. They've turned a moderately difficult project into a major clusterfuck.

You can reach 600 with an upgrade to an A2A kit and a V2 unit.

Call CJM for a fuel system, get 1000 cc injectors, topgunz a2a and a V2 blower you should be close. You will need a great shop and tuner also.

The Stage 2 A2A kit will be coming out after the Stage 1 is complete. It will come with a Vortech V2 Si or Ti head unit, oil pan spacer, oil pickup spacer, oil feed line, return line, mounting spacer and anti flex brace.
You can buy the A2A stage 1 kit in advance as everything you need for the V2 will require everything in the stage 1. |
