It wasn't a typo but I do think it's a 255, I don't know why I was thinking that.

JWillis72 12-21-2015 06:58 PM

Yes

So I'm trying to get this straight because I am talking to Seb about my tune. Did you currently have to go away from SD to get the transmission to act right. And if you did, is it acting normal now after level 10 send the torque table and the tune not on SD?

JWillis72 12-21-2015 07:26 PM

Yes we are MAF tuning and yes it seems to be acting right now. You should call Pat I bet he would love to see your tune, he doesn't think it is possible.

So it's getting late. How's it going? Are you still on the dyno?

Do they allow 'loud' at Sebring ?

JWillis72 12-21-2015 08:07 PM

They allow crazy loud at Sebring. I haven't talked to them but I don't think much got done, the tuner was busy at the shop he works for.

It's like an emotional rollercoaster....

JWillis72 12-22-2015 06:42 AM

Well I woke up to a message that the supercharger is pissing oil, today could be the day I have to shoot it.

TopgunZ 12-22-2015 07:36 AM

Is there an emoticon of a guy getting kicked in the sack? Insert above....

JWillis72 12-22-2015 07:58 AM

We need one!

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:13 AM

Yesterday before it broke again.

What is their game plan? Do you need to send it off to Vortech? You don't have the Cogs on do you?

Did they tell you how much PSI you made on that pull?

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:21 AM

No cogs, it was only 5 psi. Don't have a plan yet, they open in an hour so I will go up and figure out where it is leaking from. Most likely it's headed to 928 Motorsports and this is done for the year. My only hope is that it's the drain line but we just replaced it.

TopgunZ 12-22-2015 08:31 AM

What rpm did they let off the throttle?

Ill be keeping my fingers crossed for you its the drain line.

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:33 AM

I think that was from 3k to 5k

JWillis72 12-22-2015 08:34 AM

The BOV was only closed for a 1-2 sec.

JWillis72 12-22-2015 10:57 AM

The supercharger is not pissing oil, it blew some oil out the vent. It has always done that and now we are spinning it faster. I guess he just wanted to kick in the junk first thing by the way he worded it.

The tuner is on a flight to see his family so we are dead in the water until he lands. We removed the vacuum line from the regulator and ran it to 5k, it made 300/300 at 5k rpm.

That's pretty nice. Nothing like even HP/TQ:tup:

There is light in this tunnel

I hope it isn't a train!

TopgunZ 12-22-2015 11:26 AM

It is. A 535whp train.

TopgunZ 12-22-2015 11:31 AM

I wasn't making much power until they started advancing timing. Im sure they haven't been too aggressive with that yet. I bet you can get well over that at 5K after she has a few degrees advanced.

at this point all they have been adjusting is the fuel. Starting at about 3,000rpm the AFRs start dropping bad and it got crazy rich. We think it looks better on the run today because it leveled off this time but we are waiting for the tuner to look at it.

swiss370Z 12-22-2015 11:50 AM

Take a break and enjoy the free days!

Next year's performance will be followed ... I feel that ...
Good luck and best wishes for your Project!

JWillis72 12-22-2015 11:50 AM

Thank you!

Reading this thread is like watching a soap opera. Hopefully, you'll get some nice Christmas presents when the tuner comes back.

JWillis72 12-22-2015 02:38 PM

He is remote tuning and has his lap top with him so we just need him back on the ground.

Fair request

JWillis72 12-23-2015 02:00 PM

This is out of control, the O2 sensor on the dyno just quit.

jwick 12-23-2015 02:03 PM

Fuel trim sensor or basic O2 sensor. If latter, **** it, run it disabled.

JWillis72 12-23-2015 02:12 PM

No the one on the Dynojet.

The car broke the dyno. Well that is par for the coarse. You have to just sit
back and laugh at this.
