I was uncomfortable with the idea of kinking the wire over the lip of the seam. Seems like it would be vulnerable to rubbing and pressure, but apparently it's not

I was uncomfortable with the idea of kinking the wire over the lip of the seam. Seems like it would be vulnerable to rubbing and pressure, but apparently it's not a problem. Never had any issues with my previous Z, and it had the plates.
The illuminated kick plates are certainly not mandatory, but they are a nice touch. |
