Depending on who does the work and how bad it is, may not be so bad. I had to have mine reskinned, and they left all the support there. You pretty much cannot tell my car had any work on it, even matched the paint perfectly. Regarding the car going bad in 3 years, yea it's a 370Z, not a carton of milk. This is nonsense.
