I'll add to this, after having to reinstall mine after the first time: First, I put tape down the entire length. A few spots here & there left them too

I'll add to this, after having to reinstall mine after the first time:
First, I put tape down the entire length. A few spots here & there left them too floppy for my liking. Second, on the screws, I put a gob of silicone in the hole and on the screw to help hold it once it's in there. The side skirts are really, really thin. It's not like drilling into a 2 x 4. I figured the silicone would keep them from moving around at all. |

The silicon is a good suggestion. Did not think about that. While I do not think mine are going anywhere the silicon adds additional peace of mind. If my sure if my side blades come off the car its because the entire side of my car fell off, lol. ![]() ![]() |
