How do you install Evo-R sideskirts?

I got no instructions with my order and no markings as to which skirt goes on what side. I got an assortment of screws, but I have no idea where they're supposed to go - the holes on my sideskirt don't seem to be lining up with any of the holes underneath the car. Am I supposed to drill into the OEM sideskirt or something?

So I'm pretty confused. Plus, I was told this was supposed to come with and use double sided tape when installed? Didn't get any of that either. I tried looking at the DIY section and couldn't find an install thread...it looks so straightforward and easy, but I didn't feel like laying down on the floor any longer to figure it out.

3M double sided tape and sheet metal screws. Put the tape on the sideskirt and center it on your rocker panel and to where the "V" in the sideskirt matches the body. When you are satisfied with the location of both sides, then screw in the screw through the holes into the underside of the car. I hope that helps

Ah, so I do have to screw into the OEM sideskirt (creating new holes).

Yes, just be happy with placement first. Use self tapping screws.

Got it. Yeah, I was able to figure out that the V grooves were supposed to line up and match. I guess I'll finish the job tomorrow.

Just installed them. Was a pain to do it in this hot 90-degree weather, on the floor. It helps if you have a second person to line up both sides to make sure everything is even side to side, and front to back. I did it alone, but managed to get everything within perfection of the lines and angles. I though the supplied screws were too dull to tap a hole through the plastic, so fortunately I had something much much sharper lying around, used that to poke the holes, screw that sharp screw in in a bit, screw it out, and then screw in the supplied ones.

The CF looks absolutely fantastic on my Black Cherry, especially with my blacked out 180* headlights. I'll take some pics after I wash off this filth all over me.

I did mine myself too and agree another person would have made the job easier. I hope you find the right light and angle for good pics to show the back cherry and CF combo. I bet it looks great!

No pic - no mod. :-)

Pictures, if you can. Please.

Tell people to be careful, I had someone step on mine when getting out and ripped it off. So I actually just took it to a shop and had them glue it on.

Yeah, I've already told my girlfriend to watch her step.

Here's a pic, it's really hard to get a good shot where the CF and Black Cherry are obvious. Right now, it all looks like one color, which is actually quite nice and compliments the subtlety of the car. I'll grab my DSLR and take some proper pics soon enough.

Looks great. Are you lowered, or stock height?

Looks good, I love the look. Welcome to the club!

I like how it is more subtle on the Cherry black compared to yellow.

Did you have to put it up on stands? I've got a short little drill that I think I can get under it, but wasn't sure if it would be a PITA to do without lifting. Even considered a couple short pieces of 2 x 12 for some 'ramps' to give me a little clearance. I've had the side skirts for like 3 months now - just haven't gotten around to putting them on.

Use self tapping screws and you don't have to lift it. I used them to install mine with a 1/4" drive ratchet. Easy and quick install with great results.
